Installation walkthrough
I want to connect my Netgear router to my Verizon router, to use the Net Gear one as the secondary. I need to keep my Verizon one as a primary aswell. I called Netgear and they said that they would charge me if I did this on the phone, and that I could learnhow to do it here on this site for free. I just don't know how to. Please help.

I don't know what "primary" and "secondary" mean (to you) with
respect to routers. Which one where you expecting to connect to which,
how?

Clearly. You might start by describing your "my router" devices in
more detail (say, by a model number), and then explain what the problem
is that you are trying to solve. If your "my Netgear router" is the
C3000 which the forum has filled in, then that may limit the
possibilities.
