Locating Guest user password on C6300 wifi router
When I set up guest services on my wifi router, I thought I was being wise by adding a password. Unfortunately, I failed to make a note of that password. How can I find the password or reset it?

Hello GMAUser,
You may unplug and plug in everything and try a factory reset. The author in the post below had a similar issue. Please let me know if this solves your issue.

Thanks for the quick response. I will try that when I can afford the down time. I will keep you posted.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Look for "Set Up a WiFi Guest
Network" (or, simply, "guest").

Yes, you could do that, but, unless you've lost the "admin" password
for the C6300 management web site, it would be a big waste of time and
effort.
If all you lost was a Guest Network passphrase, then deal with that.
If you lost the "admin" password, which would stop you from doing normal
administrative tasks, then a settings reset might make some sense. In
that case, look for "Factory Default Settings" in that User Manual.- GMAUserAug 29, 2018Aspirant
Makes sense. Downloaded user manual. Will check it out. Thanks.
