Netgear AC1900 C7000 / Xfinity (Comcast) - Internet stops working after ~24h
Hi,
I bought Netgear AC1900 C7000 on Jan 26, 2024. It worked perfectly fine for couple of months. Sometimes in June / July 2024, I started experiencing some strange problems with the internet and Wi-Fi network:
1. Some smart devices started disconnecting from the network;
2. Internet slowed down to the degree that no longer allowed me to load a simple webpage;
I started debugging this issue. I did factory reset and set it up again. It worked fine for couple of hours and then, the very same problem started happening again. My firmware is V1.01.34 and there is no way I can update it. I suppose my ISP provide is responsible for that (Comcast).
I went back to using my old modem / router C6620 and everything works fine there.
My complain is: I paid $120 for AC1900 and it stopped working after just couple of months. Netgear doesn't seem to be interested in providing me with any help9 (it's been more than a year now, when I bought this product). I'm very disappointed with this.
