Netgear CM1000 Cable modem displaying Amber Ethernet light

Good morning,

Last week I upgraded my wifi router system from a R7900 to an Orbi RBK752 (Router and One Satillite). I have Xfinity 900 mbps internet connection and needed a stronger wifi signal throughout my two story 2200 sq ft house and wanted to get the fastest wifi speeds possible. After I instailled the new orbi mesh system I immediately was getting 941 mbsp throughout the house and strong signals throughout which was my goal. I tested my computer an hour later notice I was only getting 90 mbps when I performed three different speed test from three different companies. I looked to see that the device was connected by orbi on a 5ghz signal which is what I wanteded. I finally checked my orbi router and cable modem lgihts and notice the amber light. I restarted everything and everything went back to normal. However a few days later I was downloading some software and noticed the download spped was lacking. I checked the CM1000 modem again and again it had the same amber light. I decided to change out the ethernet cable to use the one now that came with the orbi even though I have had no problems with the current cable in the past. Is there anything I can do to fix this from happen in the future? Thanks!

Yesterday morning I installed the new cable so for 24 hours no issues. I had first installed the Orbit Router and Satillite this past Saturday night and I first corrected the amber light issue Saturday night after turning off power to everything for a minute and powered it back on. So I am waiting to see how the new cable works as it took 4 days for the amber light to come back on previously. Currently just speed tested as I wrote this response and so far so good.
