Netgear cm1000 speed issue with cox

Question

I have a Netgear cm1000 behind a Netgear nighthawk 6x r8000 router and I just upgraded to the gigablast service on Cox San Diego on Friday 11-17-17 and the speeds I am getting with speedtest.net is in the 400-499 Mbps range. I have tried direct connection to a PC and using a cat 6a cable but I get the same results.
