Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router(C7000v2)
I recently purchased a Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Cable Modem Router(C7000v2), A friend set it up for me. He registered the product, however, I cannot access the modem. Do I need to access it and for what reasons? If I should have that capability how should I proceed? On the login page...I have tried to login with, it will not allow me. Tried to change password and it didn't allow that either. Please, I need insturctions on how to proceed so I have access to the Modem

Try a factory reset on the modem and set up from scratch with a ethernet connected PC and web browser:

Press the reset button for 15 seconds then release.
