Nighthawk Speed - Device or Provider?

Just recently returned my C7000v2 and got a AX6000 (CAX80) and noticed that despite it working overall I was getting relatively low speeds.
I pay for 1300mbps through xfinity and have noticed that I’m getting only 200-300mbps on average. While the device isn’t placed in the most optimal spot (through one wall and about 7 feet from the window), I don’t know how I’m getting 4-6x worse connection than advertised.
While I’m sure this can be chopped up to Xfinity (and their terrible customer support), I was wondering if there’s any other potential problems maybe on my end?
As I said the device is about 1ft below and 7ft down from the nearest window and I use devices in the room directly through the wall- it is connected directly into the wall through direct to wall male coax cable.

Measured how? 300 Mbps is as fast you will get on many wifi devices.

wifi speeds drop off quickly with distance and obstructions. 300 Mbps through walls/distance isn't bad.

What speed do you get hardwired?

      Thats the key.
