Purchasing a WIFI modem and router with telephone
I have a Comcast modem/router phone unit and want to buy my own equipment instead on renting. I have 3 TV's, cell phones, and computers and I need to hook up one phone to the unit. I don't know why to buy. I want the best speed and fast wifi. What should i buy?

You need a cable modem with an EMTA (Embedded Multimedia Terminal Adapter). I see that Netgear is coming out with one, the CM500V. You should double check with Comcast that it is supported. Note, this is just a cable modem. You'll still need a Wi-Fi router to go along with it.
Sorry, I just noticed that there is the C7100V. This is a cable modem and Wi-Fi router with voice support.
