Question about the power light on nighthawk modem

Purchased a Nighthawk modem CM2050V in Jan 2023 to replace a modem I had for 8 years.  Yesterday the Wi-Fi went down and the power light was off. As I use the modem for phone service, the Tel 1 light was flashing.  The downstream and upstream lights were blinking.  Unplugged the modem and plugged it back in.  The power light would flash red and then go dark. The modem is not in a cabinet and receives plenty of ventilation. Tried another outlet to see if that was the problem and the power LED would not illuminate.  Thought this modem for the price would have a longer life than 18 months.

    Others have posted that the LEDs on the 2000 series maybe fualty though the modem itself works. If the modem is still working, then run it as is. 

     

    Can try a different power adapter with same volts and amps to see if this changes anything.
