Replacement for Xfinity Router?
HI everyone,
can nanyone advise a suitable modem replacement for the Xfinity leased modem/router combo that comes with my subscription? i will like to save on the $11 i pay to lease the equipment by buying a modem and connecting my own router to the modem...my biggest challenge is the loosing the telephone port
i am on the Xfinity 150Mbps Up subscription and i dont know which of the Netgear modem with telephone port that can throughput that speed
can anyone advise?

CM500V (This is ONLY a Modem + Voice) and NOT a Router. You will need a seperate Router.
This works for upto ~250/300 Mbps (currently as per Comcast provisioning standards)..

thanks for the response and yes it seems to be the only netgear modem with voice capability i can find anywhere. however, it cannot achieve the speed you quoted...its actually rated at less than or just about 50Mbps

note: it will NOT support 400 Mbps Comcast.
