Re: how to change nat type from strict to open on a c7000 for ps4
Have you tried reserving the IP for the PS4 and enabling Port Forwarding to see if that makes a difference? I'm not sure if you can set a device to "open" without putting it in the DMZ; which could potentially be a security risk.

how to change nat type from strict to open on a AC1900 Model C7000 for ps4
I have. but it doesn't seem to be working or maybe i might not be doing it right since i never serve an IP address for a ps4 or done Port Fowarding. I also for got to mention on my last discussion, that i have two ps4 and I am using a Ethernet switcher to connected both ps4 to my nighthawk AC1900 Model C7000 . if there is anyone that has this model some where out there, maybe can guide me through on how to do the process mention above.
thanks.

Re: how to change nat type from strict to open on a c7000 for ps4
You will need to do some port forwarding for the PS4 here is a KB on how to do this plus the PS4 ports.
- TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480.
- UDP: 3478-3479
