C7000V2 not working in 1000mbps Comcast connection
I recently upgraded my Comcast from 75mbps to 1000mbps.
after this change, my modem still connecting with max of 80mbps speed.
there is no luck after hard reset, reconfiguration and online docs.
finally replaced with Xfinity modem and all good now.
Any body knows
1. this C7000v2 will support Comcast 1000mbps speed.
2. How to confirm whether it is hardware issue if it is.
anybody faced this issue? pls

Most ISPs require a 32x8 channel modem. The c7000 is a 24x8 channel modem and probably not capable of handling 1Gb ISP services.
I recommend you get into a CAX80, CM1000 or CM1100 modems. The CAX is a gateway modem. the CMs are modems only which one needs to connect a external wifi router to those modem models.

FURRYe38 Thanks for your message. after some research 1000mbps will work with Docsis3.1 modem rather than docsis3.0.
C7000v2 is docsis3.0 my bad. I have to spend for modem + WIFI router to get good result.

Ya, for 1Gb speeds, most ISPs required D3.1 modems.
Hope you find something good that works.
Good Luck.
