CM400 modem showing only solid Red light

Netgear Cable modem CM400 (used for xfinity connection more than a year), is showing only a solid Red light. No other lights are On. 

Does this mean the Modem is damaged beyond repair or is there a fix? please.

 

P.S:

Connecting cable and also LAN to laptop makes no change.

With ISP's rental modem home internet is working fine.

    Did you contact your ISP and have them add the mac address of the modem to your account and then assign the internet to it?

    just Power LED is SOLID RED? and nothing else shows up for long time? if yes, board is damaged. Please contact to get RMA if it is in warranty.
