Cannot open ports 80, 443 - despite correct port forwarding rules?!

Hey!

I need to open up ports 80 and 443 so in order to create a https:// domain to login to my raspberrypi - the issue is I cannot open these ports!

I have the correct port forwarding rules on (80 to 80, 443 to 443).  I also have another port open which is hosting the program I am running and that port forwarding rule works fine.

My port forwarding rules are set to always (not never).

All setting for the usb storage (advanced tab) have been checked off.

Media server has been disabled.

UNPnP is off.

Remote management settings are turned off.

Under 'setup>LAN setup' I have saved my raspberry pi's address reservation.

Currently lost.  Any suggestions would be appreciated!  I've always used Netgear routers but I am afraid after this mess with something that should be so easy I am going to have to switch.

P.S. I have also done a hard factory reset to try and fix this.

Those 2 ports can not be port forward they are typically reserved.
