I am having trouble connecting my SwitchBot hub to my netgear ac1200 cable router model c6230. Any advice would be appreciated
How does it connect? Wifi?
What happens when you try?
I'm afraid that "having trouble" offers no clues about what is going wrong.
Take us through what you do and where things go wrong.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.

Thanks for the reply. Per your reply, I am trying to connect my SwitchBot hub to my net gear router For Wi-Fi. The hub asks for my Wi-Fi ssid and password.
So the hub has to connect directly to the router?
Many of these things make the wifi connection using a mobile device as an intermediary. In those cases, it is seems to be the software on the m,bile that is the issue. It cannot connect a 2.4 GHz app to something when it has a connection to 5 GHz wifi. That is down to incompetent app writers.

You could see if you can temporarily turn off the 5 GHz wifi from the C6230.
Manuals are always a good place to start.
Visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Enable or Disable the WiFi Radios.
If that works, remember to turn the 5 GHz back on. There is an LED on the front to remind you.
I assume that you have talked to the people behind SwitchBot for help, and that you have investigated things like the gadget's support for WPS. The router just squirts out wifi, It is then down to the client to play ball. You shouldn't have to mess around with routers.
