Wireless-N 150 Router WNR1000 v2

I am wondering whether I have redundancy in my home setup. I have two Netgear routed connected, #1 is a Netgear Wireless-N 150 Router WNR1000 v2 and #2 is a Netgear Wireless-G Router WGR614 v9.  The way they are configured is a cable goes from the cable modem to the “WAN” connection on the Netgear #1, from the “LAN #4” connection on Netgear #1 to the “Internet” connection on Netgear #2, and from the “LAN #1” connection on Netgear #2 to my PC.  I am wondering whether I need both Netgear routers, or only one (and if so which one) and the other is redundant or possibly conflicting?

    Hello BruanRi

You dont need both routers unless the coverage in your home is bad and the 2nd router is a good distance away from the first one but if you need both all you need to do is log into the the WGR614 v9. then got to LAN IP setup and uncheck Use router as DHCP server.
