If this has already been posted, I apologize. Just hooked up my C6220 last week and works great. I have noticed that the coax connector at the modem seems unusually hot. Top of modem also hot. Is this normal?

Make sure the modem is in a open place with airflow but if it gets way to hot to the touch I would contact support.

Re: ac1200 c6220 running hot
I have a new (end of June, 2018) Netgear modem router that is running very hot. It is in an open space with air circulating around it. Is this normal?

If you feel it is to hot I suggest contacting support they will be able to replace the unit if needed.
