Re: cm1000 keeps rebooting

Contact your ISP and have them check signals up to the modem.

Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in between the ISP service box and the modem.

Re: cm1000 keeps rebooting

Mine started rebooting this afternoon. It reboots about every 2min 40 secs... Rediculous, nothing the ISP can help with.

Contact your ISP and have them check signals up to the modem.

Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in between the ISP service box and the modem.

Be sure your using good quality RG6 cabling up to the modem.

Factory reset the modem.

Re: cm1000 keeps rebooting

Actually your is has nothing to do with it rebooting constantly. Mine is doing it also but I can tell you for sure, you should be able to completely disconnect your cable altogether and still be able to log in to the router without it rebooting and with cable completely disconnected.

Re: cm1000 keeps rebooting

Solution for me is to not buy netgear on my mext cable modem. Completely unhappy with the fact they don't last over a year and unlike other brands which offer 2 year warranties, they only offer 1 with little support.
