Netgear c7000v2
Hi
Bare with me - this is a little of my area of understanding.
I just moved and I have a Netgear c7000v2 that is about a year old. I was using it for a cable modem/router with Xfinity at the new house, but then realized I wanted to transition to Verizon Fios.
Verizon has supplied all their own equipment, but I am hoping to use the Netgear cable modem as an extender(?) bridge(?) to boost the signal in my office.
I have done a factory reset, but kinda lost on the ability to set it up.
THEN once on the Verizion Wifi. Can I use an ethernet cable to connect an older stereo and printer to the Netgear modem?
Any help or guidance is certainly appreciated.

Re: Netgear c7000v2
The C series only works in modem only mode or router gateway mode.

Re: Netgear c7000v2
The only one thing you could do is to ethernet connect the modem to a host router after you configure the modem for a Faux AP Mode. Could use the modems wifi as a separate signal while ethernet connected to a host router.
