Looking at the Network Map, I see way too many connections. One from Japan, several from ARRIS (?), and one from IR(?). I have tried to research these internaly but can't find them. I can account for our phones, pads, computers, TV, etc.
Have I been hacked?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doing that now. I've discovered the HON HAI connection actually my HP Printer?!?!?! Go figure. I'll keep investigating but it is beginning to look like all is OK! Guess I cried "WOLF" a little too soon. Sorry guys! I'm not very tech savy . . .as if you couldn't tell.
Thanks for the help here!

As far as I know, No it is not my Modem. I thought the modem was pictured onthe center. I have a connected item "HON HAI PRECISION" that really, really concerns me.

Re: Netgear Genie - Network Map showing strange connections
Relax
do a search for HON HAI PRECISION you'll see thay make ipad componets
open a browser type IP of router log in .......... look at attached device list...... this is the only list to use....... the rest like genie are junk
Hon Hai are one of the public marketing names for the big company FoxConn that also makes the apple iPhone and iPad
every Ethernet interface, has a 'MAC' address - unique in the world
They are issued in batches of numbers (1st 3 pairs define the group) and assigned to manufacturers
So if your PC or phone or other internet device, bought their interface (wifi or wired) from HonHai, it will come up as that, not HP or Dell or Apple etc.

Re: Netgear Genie - Network Map showing strange connections
You're Welcome,
It's scary, no doubt when that stuff shows up. Keep in mine the intruder or hack would have to be in your home or wifi range. The real concern is the ones you never see on a network map.
You might look at the router attached device list and compare them.

Re: Netgear Genie - Network Map showing strange connections
They seem to. I'm doing a side by side comparrison now. The names don't match so having to check the MAC addresses.

I have a Brother printer. Wireless radio shows up as HON HAY. Have a read: http://blog.erratasec.com/2009/10/hon-hai-foxconn.html
