While attempting to update the firmware on myGenie A3, I get an error message that the router is no longer supported or not found. Is the A3 no longer supported?

Re: NetGear Genie Firmware Update and IPV6
Sorry it is the Netgear43. Can they make the font any smaller? 🙂

Re: NetGear Genie Firmware Update and IPV6
Hi @HSBratt,
1. Netgear43 is the default SSID/WiFi name configured on the router. Please look for the exact model number (i.e. R7000).
2. Are you following the instructions on the link below?

Regards,
Dexter

WNR2000 apparently is no longer supported as it was not in the download center

The support pages for that are here:
>>> WNR2000v1 | Product | Support | NETGEAR <<<
That is for V1. It does date back to February 2009, so it is pretty ancient. It almost certainly predates support for IPv6.

Re: NetGear Genie Firmware Update and IPV6
v1 and v2 versions of the WNR2000 don't support the netgear genie interface firmware upgrade. Any current version of their routers will have this as standard but if you get an older one on ebay or craigslist, it may not.

That's not a model number either, just a wifi speed measure.
But you can use the products pages to match your requirements against the stuff that you can buy, if you decide to go with Netgear.
