BR200 replacment

BR200 replacment

Have a BR200 that has hardware issues Netgear has agreed to replace it but is seems they don't have a suggestion as to what would have the same configurable capabilities is as the BR200. I read many reviews on the BR500 (and it has also been discontinued) and it seems it has more issues than the BR200.

Any suggestions for an alternative at this point I would welcome any alternative that is not made by Netgear as It appears I don't have a choice.

Thanks

That's a business device, not one of the basic General WiFi Routers covered here.. While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.

You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

Business Wireless - NETGEAR Communities

or

NETGEAR Insight Network Management - NETGEAR Communities

I will move your message to a more appropriate section.

Re: BR200 replacment

It appears both the BR200 and BR500 are EOL and it doesn't look like Netgear have any business VPN routers now. Therefore, it depends on your requirements, the performance, throughput, and the amount of security you need as to what would be a suitable replacement. For a netgear router you will probably have to look through the "home" WiFi routers or WiFi Cable routers depending on your Internet connection. If you want a dedicated VPN router, there are other options in the market, just depends on what you need.
