FVS318: Unable to log in after reset defaults

Hi,
I have an FVS318 which I need to bridge two subnets, last used as a internet router. Can't remember if the f/ware is stcock, or has been upgraded at some stage. Have a laptop connected to one of the 8 lan ports. Had forgotten the password, so reset to default settings. Can ping into 192.168.0.1, but if I point a browser at it, all I get is:
Server Not Found: www.routerlogin.net
I've set several of these boxes up in the past without getting this message, just expect to see a login dialogue, so what's happening ? As I said, can ping into the box, so it is connected, but seems to be ignoring htttp requests...
Regards & Thanks,
Chris

Hi Tridac,
Welcome to our community! 🙂
It seems that the firewall isn't responding to http request. Please try to reset it to factory default and also try to use another PC to isolate the issue.

Re: FVS318: Unable to log in after reset defaults
Hi,
A bit late getting back to this, apologies. Fixed it by replacing the network cable, fault in one pair. Nothing wrong with the router :-)...

Chris
