My VPN connection r6220 just logs in to router
Need to set up a simple VPN to be able to connect to office server remotely. System is a Uverse 5268AC Gateway connected to Netgear R6220. Gateway is on 192.168. 1.254 and Netgear controls a network using 10.0.0.x.
I set up the VPN in R6220 - set up a dynamic DNS using Netgear - I passthrough the public IP to the Netgear.
Downloaded the files and configs and set them up on remote system. Had to set up pinhole for port 12974 on the Uverse router.
Run OpenVPN on remote - connects but it takes me to Netgear router login and that's as far as I can go. Unable to access any device connected to router.
Obviously I've missed a critical setting - any ideas as to where to look?
I did try port forwarding the 12974 to the server on the 10.0.0 net but get an error that ports are already configured.
How can I get the VPN to connect to the local network through the R6220.
Thanx,
Vic
