How to unblock a app on RAXE500
Hello,
I have a android streaming device that I use currently and have been for quite some time. I downloaded a app, that I know is trustworthy because many of my friends have been using it for quite some time with no issues. Anyway, I’ve downloaded and installed it on my streaming box. When I fill out all essential fields and click ok, I get “access denied” and I get a notification on my phone that Netgear blocked it.
I have the app on my phone but when I click on device manager, no devices were found, which is completely wrong. I tried to log into my router and now my security passwords are wrong and that’s not correct either. I have the answers written down and haven’t changed them since I purchased the router.
I have a two part question, how do I reset the questions and answers that allow me to log into the router as admin and how can I tell the router to give this app access. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

(Look on the label for the defaults.) Did you set it up to allow password recovery? If so, try to get in and it will take you through the process.
If you have forgotten the password and answer, your only option is to reset the device.

As to the app access, I doubt of the router is in any way involved in blocking that.
Or do you have some evidence that the RAXE500 is culpable?

Thank you for your reply, I do not believe I used the password recovery and I just may have to reset my router, which is not my first choice to do.
I am adding the security threat block from the app yesterday, it is the router blocking access. Thank you and any help is always appreciated.

Armor sits between the router and the Internet.
