recover data from swapped disk on Duo v1
My RND2150 stopped working a few days ago. Disk 1 light was flashing, Raidar could not find it and could not access it with the IP address. Powered down the unit, pulled disk 1 and started it back up...

Thank you all for your help. I will be contacting tech support tonight to see if they can fix disk 2, or if I need to send it to a data recovery service. I am hoping it will not be costing thousands of dollars to get the data back (if it can be recovered). I'll keep you posted.

Well, Netgear support was not able to do anything remotely. So I sent both disks to DriveSavers, and they were not able to recover any of the data (heads contacted platters). The worse part is loosing several years worth of digtal pictures.
I do have one other question - where can I get the pdf User Manual file for the ReadyNAS Duo V1 (RND2000)? The only pdf file on Netgear's website for this model is the Hardware Manual, which has no inforamtion on configuring the unit.
