Logon timed out, please try again.

Hallo,

I have same problem to connect from app NIghthavk to my router approx half year, maybe longer. My changed password shure to fit all conditions on webpage in the router conditions, but in the iphone app i have still message : "Logon timed out, please try again. If this issue persists, try rebooting your device."

Yes, I made reboot, but did not help me. I also instal fresh app to iphone, run registering proces in the app and same result. I thing there is big BUG.

NETGEAR, Please fix it.

If I would like to ask support, it do not offer to "contact me", only Search knowledgebase or contact comunity, means this user group.

I have device more then 2 years older!

 

Your complimentary technical support expired on 2020-12-30.

Your product hardware warranty expired on 2022-10-01.

 

What a SHAME!  😞

There is also a good chance that the official support team is busily monitoring new conversations and may miss your addition to this one.


If you do want help with your problem, check previous stuff that may be related then start your own discussion.


If you do decide to ask a question, you should provide more details and your own version of the information that the forum suggests that you provide. For example, as this is a router, it helps to know what modem you are using and the various things that you have tried to fix the problem.

all is described in the preview message. The type is in the bottom of message, it is AC1750, I do not have more information about Hardware. Except version of firmware: V1.0.4.128_10.0.104.

Same time I obtaining message about time out.

Also I tested to protect on iphone Private WiFi addres and Reduce tracking of IP. Same result if ON or OFF.

AC1750 is now a Netgear model number. You have tagged the R6400, which is one of the dozen or so Netgear AC1750 routers. Is that correct?

 

That is not firmware for the R6400.

 

This is the latest.

 

R6400 Firmware Version 1.0.1.78 - NETGEAR Support

 

But it probably won't work on whatever it is that you own. Look at the label on the thing.

Are you saying that you disabled the random Mac address on your iPhone?
