Nighthawk AC1900
A lot of this is so new to us, so please be patient! We just installed our Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000). When connecting via our phones, there are multiple networks available to us to use. Is this correct or how do I remove the extra network names? For example: we have one "Name", one "Name Guest", one "Name-5G" and a fourth one "Name-Guest" Which one is the one we should use and which ones can I remove? How do I remove them or are they just as active? Do they use the same p/w? Thank you so much for any help you can give this novice!

This might seem radical, but you might consider the advantages of
exploiting a near-secret trick:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RTFM
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
topics like "Specify Basic WiFi Settings", and, if you get desperate,
"Reset". Further reading might not hurt (much), either.

"Reset". Further reading might not hurt (much), either.Get the Nighthawk app on a device that's connected to your WiFi. In the app, you can change passwords, turn off certain ones, etc. There is also an option to "auto" or "smart" join, and basically combines your 2.4 with your 5. I caution with choosing this, because some smart products for the home (like outlets, timers, cameras) require the 2.4, and if they're combined, it will throw them off. I would suggest using that feature for your guest Wi-Fi. Hope that helps
