Nighthawk Android App
The android version of the Nighthawk app isn't connecting to the CAX80 Router. Whenever you try and login it says the router is unreachable despite it actually finding the router on first launch where it shows "We've Connected to your Nighthawk.
When you go past that screen to the Dashboard, it asks you to login and it says the router is unreachable.
I tried the iOS app and it works fine and I even used the web browser with success.

Re: Nighthawk Android App
Be sure to disable WiFi Private IP address on the phone:
Also if your using a beta FW, possible that NG hasn't made the NH app compatible yet.
Try this and see:
If not, you'll need to wait till NG gets them working in sync.

Nighthawk Android App
The support team provided me a firmware 5.1.1.2 to fix the issue with 5g connectivity on xfinity / comcast however ever since that day, specifically, the Android app will not connect to the router. iOS works just fine as does the web so I don't know what's different inside the Android app that would not allow it to connect.
I've tried uninstalling, clearing the cache and data in the settings, and all the usual debugging steps for an android app and nothing works.

Recommend you try the community section dedicated to the Nighthawk Application here:

A review of existing posts there could be helpful. A moderator will most likely move your post.

Re: Nighthawk Android app - CAX80
So it's possible that the NH app SW hasn't caught up to support this newer beta FW version for the CAX80 that NG gave you. SW and the FW seem to have ties to versions and such to work together.
I recommend keeping in contact with NG support to let them know what your seeing. I presume once the beta FW for the CAX80 has been marked stable and heads towards release, the NH app team will get both Apple and Android apps updated to fully support it. Give it some time.
I'll be checking this as well.
