Connecting printer (which uses WPS) to wifi extender

Hi,

I have just set up my wifi extender and have connected my computer to it, however my printer doesn't have a screen, so the only way to connect it to the network is to use the WPS button.

However when the WPS button is pressed on the extender, it seems it is setting up wireless access (i.e.establishing a connection with the router), rather than providing it for the printer to connect to. 

Does anyone know how I can get the printer to connect to the network created by the extender?
