Connection Issue after router assword changed

I recently changed my SSID password. i amended on all my devicesand did a factory reset on the EXT to allow me to set up with the new password. This all worked and the EXT shows up as an EXT of my SSID and my devices connect to the EXT - all good, However the router will not connect to the EXT and the trouble shooter says I need to verify the network (I assume router) new password.  There is a click link which opens a pop up to view / change the password.  After doing this it still does not work. Can anyone help or suggest anything I can do? Thanks in advance....

    Hello Sindonsteve

     

    I would say factory reset the extender again make sure to hold the reset button for 10 seconds to make sure it clears out all the old info. Then try the setup again. If that does not work have you tried the WPS method to connect the extender?
