I can’t access www.mywifiext.net
I have a Netgear extender model EX2700, I haven't used it in years but began using it again today. I was able to get the wifi working but when I go to http://www.mywifiext.net/, I get the message
You are not connected to your extender's WiFi network. I have done everything in the troubleshooting including using different browsers and connecting with an ethernet cord. Nothing is working, I don't know what to do next.
I hope someone can help

The message is happening because your PC is connecting to the internet through your router, and not through the extender.
If your PC has both wifi and ethernet, then it might be connecting to the router using the other interface (since it will detect that the extender can't reach the internet). So you might need to disable wifi in the PC, and then connect to the extender via ethernet.
You can also look for the extender in the router's attached devices list, and then try to reach the extender web ui by it's ip address (http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx - using the real ip address of course).

Thank you for the quick response. I followed your instructions and unfortunately, they did not work. I am still not able to connect to the network.

Try resetting the extender (without pressing WPS). Then you should see a wifi network called NETGEAR_EXT. Join that network, and you should be able to browse to http://www.mywifiext.net, and complete the setup.
