My WN2000rpt V2 has ip address conflicts

Hello,

My extender wn2000rpt v2 has been working perfectly.

For some reasons, it has now some ip address conflicts,

My router sees the wn2000rpt v2 ip adress as 192.168.1.131 (and so on when reset).

2 Iphones & 1 Ipad are using the extender and recognising this ip adress

my PCs (2) with Windows 7 and mywifiext.net show the extender ip adress as 192.168.1.24 (and so on when reset).

The extender ip adress set up is dynamic from the router, enabling internal DHCP Server.

I have reset router, PC, extender, Iphones & Ipads quite a number of times and the same issue pops up.

Could you please help me?

Thanks in advance

try using address reservations for the extender

      Thanks for the advice

As I am not familiar with "fixing" IP addresses, do you mean assign fixed IP addresses with the range 192.168.1.125 to 192.168.1.160?

Also If such is the case, Should I fix it in the extender or the router or both

address reservations is an option in the router lan setup, it will assign same IP to a device, It's not static it's still DHCP with a twist you enter MAC address and IP is reserved for that MAC only

        try the extender first
