Netgear nighthawk EX7700 very high ping issue

Question

i bought my Nighthawk EX7700 over 2 weeks ago and didnt notice any problems until now. i keep lagging and stuttering in my online games and this is the problem

my ping jumps from 9ms to 900ms and slowly returns to 9 ms before rocket jumping back to 800-900 ms

i can't find a solution for this, i tried ressetting the device but that does not solve it.

can anyone help me with this?

What firmware is on it?What router is it connected to?&nbsp;Is it running in ap mode or extender mode?&nbsp;Do you have your gaming maching hardwired into it or wireless?&nbsp;If its in extender mode, have you tried changing the routers wifi channel? maybe there's interferenceIf you hardwire into the extender, what speeds do you get?&nbsp;&nbsp;

firmware: V1.0.0.206the extender is connected to my main router:Draytek Vigor 2132FVnit is running in extender modeit is connected to my gaming pc via a cat 5 ethernet cableif i hardwire into extender and test my speeds i get these results:9 ping ms18 mbps download33mbps uploadi don't know how to change the routers wifi channel can you help me with that?&nbsp;

Is it setup in mesh mode?&nbsp;are you using high band 5ghz or lower band (32-48 or 149-165) for the backhaul? (router---extender connection)Does the same issue happen if connected directly to the router? The extender is reliant on the router so if the router is having the ping issues, so will the extender.&nbsp;
