No Wifi although 2.5 GHZ / 5 GHZ links rate green (EX6200)
Hi everybody, here my first post in this community :smileywink:
I am a newbie with this and it would be nice when some of you would help me to solve this problem i have with my EX6200 ..
I have a weird problem with my EX6200. After it worked fine since a wps install a week ago, now the links rate green, however i can't get any connection anymore with our iphone's. Even moving the EX6200 very near my Netgear WNDR3700 didn't change that. Tried a reset but that didn't work either.
I did of course a research on the web, read some articles of troubleshooting, but give it up because it was to technical for me ... :smileyfrustrated:
Well, i hope you are able and willing to help me.
Tia

Hi GuevaraNL,
Welcome to the community!
Can you please confirm that your EX6200 is running the latest firmware? You can check by connecting to the EX6200 and logging into www.mywifiext.net
Are you able to connect any other devices to the EX6200?
Please also confirm that you are able to connect your phones to the router.
You can try resetting the network settings by following Apple's page:

Hi nhann
No it is not .... The problem is that i not know how to do that. When i try to connect to the EX6200 and choose for the _2GEXT on my device and go in Safari to www.mywifiext.net i got a message that Safari cannot open that page because there is no internet connection ... :smileyfrustrated:
I did reset Network Settings from my iPhone 6+, it didn't work. I tried a reset of the WNDR3700, it didn't work also. Strange enough everything worked fine three day's ago with strong Wifi-signal

Are you able to test other devices other than the iPhones on the EX6200?
You can connect an ethernet wire from a computer to the EX6200 and log in to the web browser interface.(www.mywifiext.net or 192.168.1.250)
Once that is done, it is possible to update the firmware and configure settings.
Please also try changing the WiFi channel on your WNDR3700: http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/23783/~/improving-2.4ghz-wireless-performance-by-changing-channel
