Reinstalling a Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi Range Extender

I moved to a new address and now have new internet service. My range extender was setup under my old wifi network. I now can't connect it to my new network because all of the instructions say to connect to the extender's network and then go online to mywifiext.com. I can't go online while connected to that network because it doesn't exist - except in the router. In other words there is no internet connection associated with that wifi network. Any suggestions on how to change the network on my extender?

Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the extender is powered on.

That'll get you back to defaults so you can go through setup again.

There's a support site with access to manuals, firmware, install guides, etc.
    Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/
Type in your model number and from there it'll take you to the above.
Its a great resource to start with.

I tried resetting the router and now I have a network named ASUS. I tried logging into it using "admin" and "password" to no avail. Everything I can find on the support site tells me to go to their link which I can't do.

Asus wouldn't show up unless your primary router is asus and you're using WPS.

It might just be another network showing up.

Have you tried hardwiring a pc/laptop into the extender and using the installation assistant
