Reseting Router Extender won't reconnect to router

We have used this unit for 3 years without a problem but when we unplugged and moved to a different room it would not reconnect to our home network.  We downloaded manual and have gone through all the set up steps but it will not reconnect to our router.  Can't get any help from the company.  What should we do - is the device just dead for some reason?  Lights still come on but it just won't connect.

 

Any help is appreciated.

    Hi ThomasJThomas, 

     

    Factory reset the extender by pressing on the small black button with a pin and join the NETGEAR_EXT wifi network.  After you connect to it, browse to www.mywifiext.net and follow the setup instructions.
