Set up wifi extender EX6100 does work on my ipad but keep asking the password on my iphone

I set up EX6100 as a wifi extender. EXT wifi connection is shown as NETGEAR29_2GEXT not my own router's name. Somehow I could connect it on my ipad, but my iphone keeps asking the network password and never accept the password which I am quite sure I typed  correctly.

1. Why the name of the network is shown as NETGEAR__EXT?

2. Why my iphone can not get the connection?

3. Why only my ipad can get the connection?

    Hello RudNA

     

    I would get on the Ipad and then connect to www.mywifiext.net  and then login in with admin/password after that you can change the SSID and password.
