WN3000RPv2 Connection Issues

I brought my extender to Tennensee while visiting daughter.  I visit her often and my room is upstairs on the other side of the house and modemn.  I cannot seem to get the Netgear_ext up on the network list to save my life.  What am I doing wrong?  I have a iphone6S+ and a MacBook Air that I am using for connecting.  I know somethings computer, but no pro.  HELP??!!!

    Hello Mamiluz 

     

    Are you saying that you can not get the extender to connect the router or you can not get your devices to connect to the extender?

    When I plug the extender into the wall outlet and try to find the netgear_ext on my list of choices, it doesn't show up. I'm sorry if I'm not answering you properly but I'm not really sure myself

    I reread your comment and I cannot get the extender to connect to the router.

      When switching the extender to a new router you will have to factory reset the device by holding the reset button for 10 seconds while plugged in and then do the setup again. You may want to do the setup right beside the router then move the extender to where you need it.
