Subnet mask
Hello ok so i have the nighthawk xr500 pro gaming router and i am wondering which subnet should i be using which one is the best because from my little understanding the subnet mask communicates with the ip address aka 192.168.1.1 i could be wrong but that is why im making this post on what subnet mask would be best for me to use thank you for your Help !

Theres no best to use subnet, it won't affect your online gaming performance. As long as its not the same as the upstream router/modem then you're fine.

Just use the default one which is 255.255.255.0, otherwise if you change it and you don't know what you're doing then you will encounter issues.
