XR300 Disconnects From Online Games Exactly at 2 hours
Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router XR300\
Firmware is up to date
Modem: Netgear CM1000
PC and PS5
Hello,
I am reaching out in hopes that someone can propose a solution for my problem. Anytime I am using my XR300 for online gaming, I am disconnected from the online service after exactly 2 hours of gaming. This happens with wifi connection and wired connection. This is also consistent whether I am gaming on my PC or PS5. The only way the disconnects do not happen is if I utilize a wired connection directly from my modem to my gaming device. This has been my temporary solution, but cannot be a permanent solution, as this eliminates use of the router and no other device in the house will have connection to the internet. I have owned the router just over a year now and this has been an issue since day 1. I figured the issue was being caused by my ISP from my old apartment, but I recently moved and switched ISP's and this issue is ongoing. Thank you in advance for any help that can be provided.

When you disconnect, is it just the gaming device that loses connection, or do all devices on the network lose connection?
If you're not playing any games, does it remain connected consistently?
Are you currently using Geo-filter or QoS? If so, could you please share how you've currently got these configured.

1) When the disconnection occurs, I believe its only the gaming device that loses connection. And it is very quick to reconnect. When it happens, I am still able to chat on discord and PS5 party chat, so I am thinking there might be a momentary disconnect which kicks me from the online game and then it reestablished connection almost immediately.
2) I haven't noticed, but with the disconnections and reconnections being so fast, I don't think I would even notice if I am simply web browsing. I will say that I have never had issues streaming content on my TV. For instance, movies and shows over a two hours period, and I have never been disconnected.
3) I don't believe I am using either QoS or geo-filter at this time. I have tried messing with them in the past to find a remedy, which came to no avail. I think geo-filter is off at the moment, as I have no devices added for it to apply to. As for QoS, I have also tried various options. Currently I have anti-bufferbloat set to "always" and previously it was set to "never" Both options resulted in disconnects. My bandwidth allocation is currently set to even across all devices. I have even tried setting 100% allocation to whichever gaming device I was using at the time, and this did not fix the problem, so I changed it back to being even. I don't have any devices set up for Traffic Prioritization, but have previously tried adding both my PS5 and PC, which did not fix the issue either.
Thank you for your help. Please let me know if there are other options available to me, thank you!

Could you provide the log from the System Information page when the issue happens and tell us the time it happened? Hopefully there will be an entry in there that we can attribute to the issue
