XR500 Keeps disconnecting

Randomly throughout the day my XR500 router randomly disconnects itself stopping me from accessing internet/wifi. The strange part is none of the LED's on the router change colour. It can be quickly fixed by restarting the router by turning it on and off again. 

 

I have contacted my ISP and made sure there are no problems their end. I have also factory reset the router in previous weeks. I have phoned up netgear support and they want to charge me to diagnose this fault hence why I am posting here.  I am also using the most recent firmware version  V2.3.2.130

 

If anybody has any suggestion they would be very welcome! Thanks in advance :)

    what modem/gateway is it connected to? 

    Is it roughly the same time apart when its disconnecting? just curious what your isp has your lease times set for. 

    Do wired devices drop at the same time

    • It is connected to the virgin media superhub 3 which I belive is manafactured by Arris model noTG2492LG-VM

       

      I will start taking notes as to when the dropouts occur. Only other wired device I have connected other than my PC is my Bridge for my phillips hue smart lighting.

        Have you put the XR500's IP address into the superhub's DMZ?
