XR500 has WAN IP but reports being disconnected

Hi
I use a bridge from my ISP's router to my current router but the XR500 is refusing to do the same. It displays the correct WAN IP 51.x.x.x. I've reconnected my old router to post this because I can't make any sense of this. The XR500 auto-detects the same IP and DNS as my current router but that's about it. I've tried to reset it multiple times and setting it up both with IPV6 and IPV4 but to no avail. Despite recieving the correct IP/DNS/etc it simply displays "not connected".. Could the WAN port be broken? I don't even know anymore..
