XR700 Router stopped broadcasting SSID/no wifi

I See Netgear Closed This Original Thread With No Solution..  Support Was No Help.  Told Me To Take It To Best buy Or Something To See If They Could Fix It.  Was Told It Is A Common Problem And They Do Not Repair.  Without A Service Agreement We Are On Are Own.  Just Under 2 Years Of Use And This $500 Router Is Junk!!   I Will Be Very Hard For Me To Recommend Or Buy another Netgear Device After This.

    What troubleshooting did you perform with Netgear? We can do our best to help but if Netgear have already suggested you make a warranty claim for this device I fear we may not be able to assist more than they have already attempted.

    I don't see any other posts from you on this device. 

    You have the XR700?

    What firmware is on it? 

    what modem/gateway is it connected to? 

    What actual issue (in details since we aren't there) are you having? 

    • Yes.  Xr700.   I think cm1000 for modem.

       

      Not Sure I Don't Have It Hooked Up In Front Of Me, But had The Latest Firmware..  Tried HotFix Firmware.  loaded Virgin (Default) Firmware Via Tftp.  It Will Go Through The Setup Wizard But As Soon As It Attempts To Load dumaos IT Displays "dumaos not loaded yet! don't worry we will redirect you shortly.". I Can Get Into The Advanced Console It Shows The 2.4g And 5g Wifi Bands Grayed Out. Can't Enable Then.  The Wifi Lights On top Are Also Off For The 2.4 And 5g Bands.  160g Light Is Lit.  Wifi Off Switch Is Not Enabled.  Tried Multiple Resets. Multiple Firmware With No Luck.  Already Have Hours Into Troublshooting.  CS Told Me To Take It To Bestbuy To see If They Can Repair It.  Thing Is 2yrs Old But Probably has Less Than A Yr Of Use.  Not Impressed For A +$500 Router.

      The wifi lights for the 2.4 & 5G band are off. 60Ghz band light on. Cleared browser Cache. Loaded "hotfix". After still no luck, tftp the factory original firmware back to device. Unit goes through wizard but won't load the dumaos apps. It gets stuck on the "dumaos not loaded yet! don't worry we will redirect you shortly" Tried multiple times multiple reboots, multiple firmwares, tried enabling wifi in the advanced console window and rebooting. "I think the wifi options for 2.4 and 5 might have been grayed out. Can't remember but still didn't work. Netgear support told me to take it to Bestbuy... They don't fix them... Really???

        So the main issue is that you are unable to access the interface? Or you are able to acces the interface but it doesn't appear to be loading properly?

        Do you still have internet access through the XR?

        If you access the XR through the Nighthawk App on a mobile device, are you still seeing the same issue?
