2.4 GHZ Not broadcasting

I have a nighthawk x10 R9000 router and its never sent out a 2.4 ghz signal. I've followed all of the advice in the forums, full factory reset, turn it off, unplug everything, etc.. etc... and still nothing. I'm beyond frustrated with this product considering its costs and I have loads of devices that won't connect to 5ghz signal so they are just bricks. Is there any other tips I'm missing? It shows that the signal is being send, led lit etc.. but none of my devices can see it, so its not out there. My laptop can see the 5Ghz signal so I know that works but thats it.

Any help is appreciated.

    What FW is loaded?

Try a 30-30-30 reset on the router and see if this brings the wifi radio to operation?

How log have you had the router for?

Try Voxels 3rd Party FW for the R9000?

    How do you know that?

You say that the 2.4 GHz LED is lit. What wifi receivers are you using that can't see it?

    Are there two separate SSIDs.

None of my devices see a 2.4 signal. But my laptop does see a 2.4 signal from the same router that i have installed at my office, so something seems off with this specific router. Devices like my laptop, Alexa and Apple TV can all see and connect to the 5G signal but I have some other devices, Ring door bell cam, sonos speaker, that can only use a 2.4 signal and I've never been able to get one out of this router.

I've done the factory reset, full unplug, etc.. etc.. updated the firmware, did it all again. Nothing.

You still have not given a direct answer to the question, do you have separate SSIDs configured for the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands?

How long has this router been in service?  Are you the original owner?
