I noticed that the parental controls on the R7000, is not as full feature as the settings provided in the OpenDNS model. Things not available in the parental controls include specific allowing/blocking of sites. In the OpenDNS model, this is available.
I also noticed that once I enable parental controls, it takes over the OpenDNS port, and even if I have specific site settings in OpenDNS, they do not go to the router. Once parental controls is enabled, there is no way to disable it. I also noticed that putting the OpenDNS server in the router without turning on parental controls is a better option.
Any ideas how to disable the parental controls after enabling it? Also, why doesn't netgear provide the full feature of the OpenDNS site controls like the ones available on the OpenDNS dashboard.
