Hard to even begin to guess given so little details on your problem.

You can help people to help you by providing the information suggested in this forum's header:

Subject (Include model number and brief summary)
Model (Recommended - Helps the community give the best answers)
Body (Include additional detail including model version, firmware, OS and environment where relevant.)

They are there for a good reason.

What happens when the connetion drops? Wifi dies? Wired LAN disconnects?

What do the LEDs on the devices show?

    Which ISP is this?

    And that's just for starters.

also do you have a screen snip of the modems cable connections page and the logs?

That helps us check that connection back to the isp. They're great at saying "our line is fine" as a first step.

It is called "pass the buck" syndrome, all too common with many ISPs that really don't have the resources to deal with hundreds of different modems and routers.

That's why it helps to know who the ISP is.
