CAT6e Cabling
I have a R7000P Nighthawk WiFi Router. Would like to upgrade the existing CAT5e cabling. Made and tested 3 new CAT6e cables using 568B standard. Removed CAT5e and replaced with CAT6e cable between router and desktop. I can't get any connection, power nor signal lite on either end. Replaced CAT5e cable and got connection. Anyone have this type of issue?

What CAT # is printed on the cable? There is no CAT6e cable type:

CAT6 should work fine for the router.
What is the brand and model modem your using?

Why do you think you need to replace the cat 5e?
Cat 5e can support 2.5gig connections.
I have cat 5e in my home and run 2.5gig in all the rooms without issues.
In regards to your cabling issue, I've frequently seen home crimped ones that are crimpled wrong or poorly and not work. Sometimes they'll pass using a cable tester but only because it passes power and not data. So it'll pass the test but not work.

That one occurred to me too. The constant "get a better cable" refrain we read around here is mostly background noise signifying nothing. It rarely, if ever, fixes problems.
Better to look at the underlying problem than to pour money into witchcraft.
