Ethernet ports not working

Some of the ethernet ports on my router have stopped working.  I did a factroy reset and it didn't help.  Is there anything else to do?

Thanks for your help.

Which kind of "stopped working"?  Connected to what?  LED indicators?

Have you done any testing?  Test/swap cables?  Swap ports?

Generally, except for minor mechanical damage, a fried Ethernet port
on one of these routers is not practically repairable.  If you need more
(working) ports than you have, and you have at least one left, then you
can use a network switch to provide more.

I was using a 4 port Netgear switch.  It needed to be rebooted.  Everything ok now.  Thanks for your help.

Not a very detailed description of that device.  I've never seen a
four-port network switch.  Five, yes.  Eight, yes.

If you say so.  Glad to hear that you got it working, in any case.
