R7000 Intermitting Dropping WIFI Daily
My Netgear Nighthawk R7000 continues to drop signal throughout the day. Intermitting. I have read other Netgear Community news feeds. It advises to downgrading to version 1.0.9.42. Hardwired connection and factory reset the router once its updated. Can someone please confirm if these are the correct steps to solution.

Firmware version? Connected to what?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for the
LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot". Further reading might not hurt,
either. What, exactly, does "drop signal" mean to you? _Which_ "signal"? Is
the connection between your ISP and the R7000 lost? Or between the
R7000 and your (unspecified, connected someway) computer/device? Or
what, exactly?> [...] I have read other Netgear Community news feeds. [...]
Thanks for the helpful links.

description. Why not run the experiment?- XMAN512AspirantI downgraded my firmware to the 42 for my Netgear nighthawk. I was hardwired in my router when I updated my firmware. Does that make sense

"make sense"? I understand what it meant. Are you asking if it
makes sense to do that? I'd prbabably try a recent firmware version
(like, say, the latest Hot Fix) before going backward that far. But, having gotten exactly no answers to any of my questions, I know
no more now than I knew before.
